How we manage your domain name
We register it for 12 months and we make you the official owner and us the technical, billing and admin contact.
Your domain name will fall due for renewal every 12 months. We contact you about 30 days prior to this to let you know and check that that you’d like us to renew it again for you. If you’re happy for us to go ahead we renew it a few days later and you’re all sorted again for another year.
You can register domain names for up to 9 years and lock in the current pricing. Just let us know if you want to do that, otherwise we’ll continue with the annual process.
NZ domain names cost $37.50 to register or renew for 1 year (price increases are rare – the last one was July 2025). We charge $25 to look after this for you for up to 3 domain names renewed or registered at the same time.
